New Delhi: Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has tested negative for COVID-19, the actor himself apprised through twitter.
"A promise is a promise! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE!!! I told you guys I'd beat this. thank you all for your prayers for me and my family. My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati hospital for all that they have done. THANK YOU!", Junior Bachchan said.
The 44-year-old actor, along with his father Amitabh Bachchan had tested positive for the millenium scourge on July 11.
A day later his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aradhya were also found positive.
However, Amitabh was discharged from Nanavati hospital on Sunday, last week, after testing negative for Covid-19. (UNI)
