Ajay Devgn has created a havoc at the box office with one of his most loved characters Vijay Salgaonkar. Drishyam 2 has earned 15.38cr at the box office on first Friday. This also breaks two month long lean patch of Tinsel town at the box office.
The movie has garnered critical acclaim and excellent word out mouth. The footfall at theatres have increased to the point that multiplex chains have added mid night shows to fulfill the demand for Drishyam 2. The film is expected to grow over the weekend and attain a great weekend number.
The buzz for Drishyam 2 scaled up ever since the jaw dropping climax of the first edition left audience spell binded. The climax owes the major chunk of the curiosity among the movie goers making a bee line before the cineplexes.
