Ajay Devgn's Maidaan reveals untold story of Indian Football legend Syed Abdul Rahim (VIDEO)

New Delhi: The much-awaited final trailer of Ajay Devgn's upcoming film "Maidaan" was revealed on YouTube by Zee Music on the actor's birthday.
 
Directed by Amit Sharma, "Maidaan" is a biopic of Syed Abdul Rahim, affectionately known as Rahim Saab, an iconic figure in Indian football history. Rahim served as the coach and manager of the India national football team from 1950 to 1963, leaving an indelible mark on the sport in the country.
 
Rahim Saab is hailed as the mastermind behind the modernization of Indian football, elevating the team to new heights during his tenure. His leadership saw India's national team flourish with remarkable technical prowess and innovative tactics, earning them the moniker "Brazil of Asia." Under his guidance, the team clinched gold medals in the Asian Games, reached the semi-finals of the Summer Olympics, secured Colombo Cup titles, and finished as runners-up in the Pestabola Merdeka.
 
Ajay Devgn, who portrays the role of Rahim in the film, took to social media (X) to share the trailer. Alongside the trailer, he conveyed a heartfelt message, stating, "Dil EK, Samaj EK, Soch EK! Witness the untold true story of S.A. Rahim and his #TeamIndia, aajao #Maidaan mein, in cinemas on April 10th!"
