Akshay Kumar concludes filming for horror-comedy 'Bhoot Bangla', shares a BTS - WATCH

Mumbai: Bollywood megastar Akshay Kumar has officially concluded the shoot for his upcoming horror-comedy, 'Bhoot Bangla', slated for release in theatres on April 2, 2026.

The actor took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes (BTS) glimpse from the sets. In a clip, he is seen standing beneath a gushing waterfall, clad in a vibrant green shirt and beige trousers. Alongside him actress, Wamiqa Gabbi appears resplendent in a sky-blue saree, evoking an air of elegance.

Akshay also expressed his admiration and gratitude for director Priyadarshan, producer Ektaa Kapoor and co-star Wamiqa in a note along with the video. He wrote, "And that’s a wrap on BhoothBangla! My seventh madcap adventure with the ever-inventive Priyan sir, my second outing with the unstoppable Ekta, and my first but hopefully not the last, magical journey with the ever-surprising Wamiqa. Showing her gratitude for Akshay's appreciation, Gabbi penned in the comment section, "Akshaaaaaaaay sir...Thaaank you for the kind words sir...Had the best best best time shooting with this team. Absolutely FUNtastic."

Helmed by master storyteller Priyadarshan, 'Bhoot Bangla' jointly produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor and Akshay Kumar under the banners of Cape of Good Films and Balaji Telefilms and co-produced by Faraa Sheikh and Vedant Bali.

The film's narrative has been penned by Akash A Kaushik, while the screenplay has been collaboratively shaped by Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair and Priyadarshan himself. The dialogues have been provided by Rohan Shankar. "Bhoot Bangla" is slated to reach the halls on April 2, 2026.
