Amitabh Bachchan honors Chiranjeevi with Akkineni Nageswara Rao National Award

Hyderabad: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan honored Superstar Actor Chiranjeevi with the prestigious Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) National Award at a glittering function held here on Monday night.
 
The award presentation marked the celebration of the 100th birth anniversary of the iconic ANR.
 
Chiranjeevi is the 13th recipient of the award that was instituted by the Akkineni Foundation in 2005 in memory of the legendary actor.
 
Big B, paid heartfelt tributes to Chiranjeevi and thanked Nagarjuna and the Akkineni family for the invitation to participate in this prestigious event.
 
Chiranjeevi’s mother Anjana Devi, son Ram Charan, and several popular Tollywood celebrities graced the memorable occasion.
 
On the occasion, Chiranjeevi recalled his long association with ANR and Nagarjuna.
 
The Chiranjeevi revealed that his mother, Anjana Devi, is a huge fan of Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
 
The Actor wrote on X “Blessed and Elated to receive the prestigious ‘ANR National Award’ named after the Doyen Akkineni Nageswara Rao garu, in his centenary year, through the hands of my forever guru Amit ji. Forever indebted to each and everyone who contributed to my cinematic journey and each of my milestones'.
