Mumbai: Bollywood actors and contemporaries of Vinod Khanna including Dharmendra, Shatrughan Sinha and Rishi Kapoor today condoled the death of the veteran actor and Member of Parliament from Gurdaspur, Punjab. 'I don't believe it even now. He was very close to me,'' veteran actor and Vinod Khanna's co-star in many films Dhamendra said.
Condoling his death, industry colleague Shatrughan Sinha said, ''Vinod Khanna, truly "Mere Apne", one of my most admired and loved personalities, the supremely handsome and talented superstar is no more. My prayers and heartfelt condolences to his loved ones and his family. Very sad day for all of us. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.'' Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who co-starred with Vinod Khanna in Amar Akbar Anthony and Chandni, said, ''Will miss you Amar. RIP.
