Mumbai: This weekend three movies were released “Karwaan”, “Fanney Khan” and Mulk. The poor promotion and absence of big stars resulted in the lack of enthusiasm in cinegoers.
Anil Kapoor starrer Fanney Khan had the best collections with 1.8-1.9 crore. Whle Rishi Kapoor and Tapsee Pannu starrer “Mulk” earned only 1.5-1.6 crore on Friday. Irrfan Khan starrer “Karwaan” had the worst opening of 1.4-1.5 crore. All movies need to accelerate in the weekend.However, it looks unlikely as the movies have received mixed reaction from critics.
