Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty extends support to 'Sunfeast India Run As One'

Mumbai:Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty has come forward to lend her support to the ongoing national movement - the Sunfeast India Run As One which aims to raise funds for the marginalized community who have lost their livelihoods due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a recent post on Instagram, Athiya shared that she will participate from home to actively move and donate to help people regain their livelihoods. Athiya also urged her fans to register for SIRAO and pledge their support towards the noble cause of restarting livelihoods.
 
The Motichoor Chaknachoor actress mentioned how the current scenario has made it hard for so many people to run their households and that it is our duty to help our fellow citizens in this crucial time. Athiya addressed the fact that the pandemic has thrown our way a challenge where we cannot step out much to extend a helping hand to someone keeping in mind the social distancing norms. She stated that SIRAO is in fact one of the most innovative platforms for people to be able to actively help.While concluding, Athiya asked her fans to register and join her in this initiative.
 
The largest citizen-led movement dedicated to help restart livelihoods was announced on Thursday, July 30 through a virtual press meet. To be a part of the first-of-its-kind digitally supported active participatory event, one only has to register online and then he or she can walk, run or workout at home. A small gesture can help someone to get back onto his or her feet and live a life with dignity. 
 
Sunfeast India Run As One embarks on a journey to cover the total distance between Kashmir to Kanyakumari 74 times. The main goal of this movement is to showcase the power of togetherness which will contribute to changing the lives that matter.(UNI)
