Five South Indian girls who may be the face of tomorrow (Pictures)

Mumbai: For an Indian actress, who wants to make it big in Bollywood, south Indian film industry works as a Launchpad. Once you have made an impact in Mollywood, Tollywood, Sandalwood, or Kollywood, it paves the way for an entry in Bollywood. From Sridevi, to Hema Malini and Aishwarya Rai to Deepika Padukone, a major chunk of the sucessful actresses have worked first in the South Indian film Industry.

Lets have a look at the new crop of South Indian girls who may make it big in Bollywood in coming years.

Tapsee Pannu
 

Famed south Indian actress, who has worked with Prabhas, was seen in Bollywood in remake of “Chashmebadoor”. However, she spellbound viewers with her stunning acting in movie “Pink”. In recently released "Naam Shabana" she has proved her mettle again. At present It looks like she is the closest to being a mainstream Bollywood actress among other south Indian heroines.

Kajal Aggrawal
 

The cute girl of "Magadheera" was first seen in Ajay Devgan starrer "Singham" and later with Akshay Kumar’s "Special 26", both the movies were hit. However, it was not enough to give a push to Kajal’s Bollywood voyage. 

Tamannaah
 

Likewise Kajal, the lead actress of Bahubali the beginning, Tamnnah Bhatia has earned more laurel in the Deccan heartland than Bollywood. She had paired up with Ajay Devgan in "Himmatwala" but the movie was a box office disaster.

Shruti Hassan
 

The elder daughter of Kamal Hassan sneaked into Bollywood way too early, still she is unable to create a niche in tinsel town. 

Rakul Preet Singh
 

Model turned actress Rakul is a prominent actress of Telugu film industry. She has already made her Bollywood debut. ( Pictures : Twitter )
