Godfather: Salman Khan to make Telugu debut with Chiranjeevi. Details inside!

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman Khan on Wednesday started shooting for his upcoming movie "Godfather" alongside veteran Chiranjeevi.

The film will mark the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actor's debut in the Telugu film industry. It is a remake of Malayalam film "Lucifer".

Taking to Twitter, Chiranjeevi shared a picture of Salman from the sets with the caption, "Welcome aboard #Godfather, Bhai Salman Khan! Your entry has energized everyone & the excitement has gone to next level. Sharing screen with you is an absolute joy. Your presence will no doubt give that magical #KICK to the audience. Mohan Raja, Ram Charan." He welcomed the Bollywood star with a bouquet of flowers.

'Godfather' is a Telugu remake of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran's Malayalam film 'Lucifer,' which starred Mohanlal.

The Mohan Raja directed film also stars Nayanthara and Satyadev Kancharana in key roles.

The film is jointly produced by Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films. (UNI)
