Hrithik as Lord Ram, Deepika as Seeta in 3D movie Ramayana !

The film industry has produced several films on the epic Ramayana. Earlier, the presentation of Ramayana has been done differently. Now producer Madhu Mentana is set to produce a big-budget movie on 'Ramayana'. 
According to the sources, Madhu Mentana has decided to produce the movie 'Ramayana' in a whopping Rs 300 crores Budget.
 
That's not all, the makers have also finalized the cast. The film will feature Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. Hrithik Roshan will essay the role of Lord Ram, while Deepika will be seen playing her better half as Seeta.
 
Madhu Mentana's 'Ramayana' will be directed by Nitish Tiwari, who has earlier produced a super hit film like 'Dangal'. According to reports, Madhu Mentana has recently purchased stakes in Phantom Films from Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwani and Vikas Bahl. Mentana will now single-handedly manage the banner. 'Ramayana' is his dream project, which he wishes to create under this banner.
 
Madhu Mentana will produce 'Ramayana' in 3D, with a budget of 300 crores. Madhu Mentana has hired some research scholars to do research and development on 'Ramayana'. This will subsequently help in developing the script. Madhu Mentana is looking at releasing 'Ramayana' in two parts. Merging Ramayana into a 2 and a half hour movie is a daunting task, This is the reason Why Madhu has decided to present the story of Ramayana in two parts on the screen.(WD)
