Karan Johar hails SRK as 'emperor of a human being' on Aapka Apna Zakir

This weekend, Sony Entertainment Television will debut its new show, ‘Aapka Apna Zakir’, featuring comedian, poet, and actor Zakir Khan as host.The show promises 'Khushiyon Ki Guarantee' and 'Manoranjan ka Waada', and will include appearances by Shweta Tiwari, Rithvik Dhanjani, Gopal Datt, and Paresh Ganatra.

The inaugural episode will see renowned director and producer Karan Johar as the first celebrity guest. Johar, known for his candidness, shared insightful anecdotes about his career and his deep respect for Bollywood's "Badshah", Shah Rukh Khan.

Johar recounted a memorable incident from the set of "Karan Arjun" when he and his father visited Filmcity. "I remember Shah Rukh was shooting for Karan Arjun and I had gone on the set with my father," Johar said. "Shah Rukh was standing quite far away in an orange shirt and when Dad got out of the car, SRK came running towards him, just to greet him. I was shocked to see this and even my dad was so overwhelmed by it. And then Shah Rukh saw me and asked so many questions; I was blown away by him as I had never met somebody so respectful before."

Johar further praised Khan, saying, "Shah Rukh is more than just a king; he is an emperor of a human being. Not only is he an exceptional actor, but also an extraordinary human being and I respect him a lot. This quality of his is the reason why he is showered with so much love from all." Johar also noted that Khan's encouragement during his time as an assistant on "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" was instrumental in his journey as a filmmaker.
