Mumbai:The makers on Thursday announced that Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan will play a cop in Irrfan Khan starrer 'Angrezi Medium'.
Directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan, 'Angrezi Medium' will be filmed in London this June.Actor Irrfan Khan on April 5 started the shooting for the film in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
"Kareena is a great addition to our franchise! Angrezi Medium is a very special film, and I'm excited that she's going to be a part of it. We wanted to introduce this character who would be taken forward in the franchises to come and she's perfect for it,'' the Maddock Films founder Dinesh Vijan said in a statement.
"Here she plays a cop, a role she's actually never done before. We will be shooting in London this June, and it will be great to be back on set with her," he added.
'Angrezi Medium' is the sequel to the smash hit 'Hindi Medium', but with a new story and will be shot in Udaipur and London.The movie will now include people from other ethnicities abroad and will show Irrfan's daughter going to the US for higher studies.(UNI)
