Mahesh Manjrekar calls Salman Khan a 'Devmanus' while expressing his love for Salman Khan

Salman Khan is undeniably a superstar with a massive fan following. He is one of the most beloved superstar in the industry, known for having one of the most loyal fan bases. Not only is he the king of the box office, but he also rules the hearts of audiences. Beyond his stardom, Salman is known for his golden heart and for always being there for those in need. He’s one superstar who consistently supports his industry friends, and many celebrities have publicly praised him for it. Recently, actor Mahesh Manjrekar spoke highly of Salman, sharing how he stood by him during difficult times. He even referred to him as a Devmanus and opened up about their strong bond.

In an interview Manjrekar said, “One man who would really never ever look like a Devmanus, who I sometimes take for granted is Salman Khan. I don’t mention his name, but he is always there for you.”

He said, “We had never worked together then. But I had some problem, and out of the blue he called me on my landline and said, ‘Don’t worry, everything will be fine.’ It felt like that Marathi saying — ‘Bhiu nako, mi tujhya pathishi aahe’ (Don’t be afraid, I’m right behind you) and he has always been there since then.”

Salman Khan's unmatched stardom continues to shine with Sikandar. The film’s phenomenal success—crossing Rs 100 crore in India and Rs 200 crore worldwide—is a testament to his massive pull at the box office. With Sikandar becoming his 18th consecutive Rs 100 crore grosser, Salman has once again proven that his name alone is enough to bring audiences to theatres. It’s clear that the film’s box office triumph is driven in large part by the sheer star power of Salman Khan.
