Megastar Chiranjeevi urges Bharat Ratna award for NT Rama Rao

Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi expressed his ardent wish to see the legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) be honoured with the highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna.
 
On Tuesday, Chiranjeevi commemorated NTR on the occasion of his 101st birth anniversary. In a heartfelt post on the X platform, Chiranjeevi highlighted NTR’s immense contributions and reiterated his long-standing appeal for the Bharat Ratna award in recognition of NTR's services.
 
In his post, which has since gone viral, Chiranjeevi reiterated his previous appeals for NTR to be honoured with the Bharat Ratna, noting that he had even mentioned NTR's name when he received the Padma Vibhushan. Chiranjeevi urged the central government to fulfill the longstanding desire of the Telugu people by bestowing this prestigious award on NTR.

"Some people's fame is immortal. Generations remember them. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao is an example for future generations. Remembering him today, I believe the Bharat Ratna award would be a fitting tribute to his contributions to public life. I hope the central government will fulfill this long-standing desire of the Telugu people," said Chiranjeevi.
 
Netizens have responded positively to Chiranjeevi's post, showering him with praise. The desire to see NTR honoured with the Bharat Ratna has been a longstanding wish among the Telugu community.
