Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party city president Advocate Ashish Shelar on Monday visited residence of Bollywood mega-star Salman Khan and had lunch with the family members.
“Pleased to meet Salim Khanji, Helenji and family over lunch…” gushed Shelar after the luncheon and posted his pix with famous Khan father-son duo.
Over lunch, he discussed their social work in areas of healthcare and assisting the needy, the initiative launched by Salim Khan and pursued for two decades with utmost sincerity, he added.
As the photo went viral, several users trolled him saying, " Tumcha Hindutva Kuthe Gela?(Where did your Hindutva ideology go now)".
To the unversed, Ashish Shelar took a dig last year when Uddhav Thackery was seen joining hands with Samajwadi Party and said that the former CM and Shiv Sena (UBT) has compromised with the Hindutva ideology.
