Police send summon to Salman Khan in a fraud case

Mumbai:Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his sister Alvira have been accused of fraud recently. A businessman from Chandigarh has levelled such an allegation against the Being Human owner.
The businessman alleges that Salman Khan's company 'Being Human' is not sending consignment from Delhi after opening the showroom. The company's website is also reportedly closed. Subsequently, the businessman has filed a complaint against Salman Khan, Alvira Khan and the officials of Being Human.
 
According to reports, in the complaint handed over to the police, the businessman claimed that at the behest of Salman Khan, he had kick-started a showroom of 'Being Human Jewellery in Manimajra after investing an amount of Rs 3 crore. He also signed an agreement with Style Quintet Jewelery Pvt Ltd in this regard. The showroom was inaugurated in the joint aegis of both the entities, but no assistance was received at a later stage. 'Being Human' committed to deliver the jewellery from its store which is now closed.
 
According to the sources, the police officers have sent a summon to Salman Khan, Alvira Khan and Being Human CEO Prasad Kapare, Santosh Srivastava, Sandhya, Anoop, Sanjay Ranga, Manav, Alok.
 
The complainant has also sent a video to the police. He alleged that Salman Khan promised to inaugurate the showroom but later did not turn up. Notably, Salman owns a charity foundation, titled 'Being Human'. (WD)
