Mumbai: Salman Khan's Eid release, 'Race 3' has witnessed an upward trend on the whole weekend. Marking a strong pre-festive occupancy, Salman's action bonanza takes the third day total to Rs 106 crore.
The audience are pouring in large numbers for the movie across quarters, showcasing a bumper opening for a non-festive release.The movie had a bumber opening of 29 crores on Firday. Later it made the most of holiday of Eid and an upward trend of collection was witnessed. The movie earned 36 crore at box office on Satruday. On Sunday the collection rised marginally to 39 crore but that was enough to touch the 100 cr figure.
Starring an ensemble cast of Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah, the action thriller is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films. Produced by Salman Khan Films and Ramesh Taurani under the banner of Tips Films, 'Race 3', directed by Remo D'souza, is running strong at the box office.
