Ranbir Kapoor considers Deepika a bigger star than him

New Delhi: Amidst the pay disparity communication in Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor shares his thoughts on Deepika Padukone deserving equal amount as him as she is equal to or even bigger star than him.
Bollywood's leading lady Deepika is the highest paid actress in Bollywood today, the actress, in fact, has been paid more than her male co-stars for her last film.Ranbir who has shared screen space with Deepika for films like 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani', and 'Tamasha', opened up about gender parity in the industry saying Deepika deserves an equal amount as him as she is an equal or even bigger star than him.
 
The actor said, "If I am on a project and there is Deepika on it, Deepika is as big or a bigger star than me so there has to be equality, or she gets the bigger piece of the pie, but somebody has to do it."Deepika and Ranbir started their Bollywood journey together with Om Shanti Om and Saawariya respectively that hit the screens together.
 
Termed as the 'Queen of 100 crores club', Deepika holds the most number of seven Rs 100 crore films, while her recent outing 'Padmavat' clocking Rs 300 crore at the box office. With this Deepika was titled the first actress to have entered the Rs 300 crore club with a woman led film.
 
Deepika commands the title of being the most commercially viable actress in the industry, in addition to being the highest paid actress.(UNI)
