‘Samathwam’ is a short film which reflects the current situation of flood-affected Kerala which completed shooting 6 months ago! The film was directed by famous cinematographer Anil Nair who worked for many hit movies such as ‘My Boss’.

The film was released on official Youtube channel of East Coast. Earlier, the trailer of the film was released with the voice of Mollywood actor Mohanlal.

Director Anil Nair recalled that he shot the movie on February 18, but he can’t even believe that the scenes coincided with the current real-life situation in Kerala floods.
