'Scam 1992' star Pratik Gandhi bags his first Filmfare Award

Mumbai: Actor Pratik Gandhi is over the moon, for bagging the Best Actor in a Drama Series (Male) for "Scam 1992" at the My Glamm Filmfare OTT Awards 2021.

Due to outbreak of the Omicron variant, the Filmfare hosted its second edition of the OTT Awards amid strict Covid norms.
In this year’s awards ceremony, Hansal Mehta directed "Scam 1992" and TVF’s ‘Gullak Season 2’ were the biggest winning 10 and five awards respectively.

‘Scam 1992’ which starred actor Pratik Gandhi in the lead role had bagged a total of 14 nominations.

Sharing the news on his social media, Pratik Gandhi wrote, “My first ever #FilmfareAward. Thank you @filmfare for this encouragement. Cheers to team #Scam1992 ...”

After "Scam 1992", Pratik Gandhi has signed a series of projects like "Shimmy", "Atithi Bhooto Bhava", "Dedh Bigha Zameen", and "Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan?".

Bankrolled by Junglee Pictures and Roy Kapur Films, "Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan?" stars Pratik and Taapsee Pannu in a unique comedy-drama about a runaway bride. The film is written and directed by Arshad Syed. (UNI)
