Shraddha Kapoor bags a big one, the actress to headline a trilogy on Naagin

Shraddha Kapoor’s recent announcement of the Naagin Trilogy is a big announcement that had come the actress’ way. It is perhaps the first time that trilogy has been announced that is being frontlined by an actress and its great news for Shraddha and all her fans across the world.

The actress took to her social media to express gratitude and shared, “It’s an absolute delight for me to play a Naagin on screen. I have grown up watching and idolising Sridevi ma’am’s Naagina and Nigahen and have always wanted to play a similar role rooted in Indian traditional folklore.”

Over the years, Shraddha has proven her versatility with a variety of characters in different genres like action, romance and even dance, with her last film garnering a lot of appreciation for her performance.

On the work front, apart from the Naagin Trilogy, Shraddha will also be seen sharing the screen with Ranbir Kapoor in a Luv Ranjan directorial. The actress was last seen as Inayat in Street Dancer 3D followed by Baaghi 3 where she played a bold and fearless character.
