Swara Bhaskar and Gulshan Devaiah to share screen in a short film

Kolkata:Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films on Tuesday premiered‘Dobara Alvida’, a short film on old lovers and a trip down memory lane over an unexpected meeting in a shared cab.
The film starring critically acclaimed actors – Swara Bhaskar and Gulshan Devaiah, is the
debut of director Shashank Shekhar Singh.
 
An interesting take on modern-day relationships’ and the fickleness it entails, the story revolves around two estranged lovers who bump into each on a shared cab ride. What follows next is a rollercoaster of pent-up emotions and the ex-partners re-discovering a latent spark a few years
after ging separate ways.
 
Talking about ‘Dobara Alvida’, SwaraBhaskar says,”This movie is very special to me as it brings
out that dormant aspect of emotions that we generally bury away once a relationship is over.

We rarely confront that part of our lives once the chapter is closed. I am glad Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films has given a platform to share such unique stories and reach out to a modern audience base.”
 
Actor, GulshanDevaiah, further added,“This story is about certain emotions that one may have
pushed aside & suppressed, until life is almost forcing you to deal with them in a manner that’s
most sudden. In the most unexpected way, in this story,two people get an opportunity to find
emotional closer. I am thankful to Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films, for being such
a remarkably empowering platform for niche and contemporary storytellers.”
 
The film has seen an exceptional team of, producers, artists and technicians coming together. Produced by Shahbaz khan, the music of the film is given by renowned music director Krsna
Solo and edited by Manas Mittal.(UNI)
