Chennai: Tamil cinema actor and comedian and popular social media personality
Bijili Ramesh, passed away here on Tuesday after a prolonged illness.
 
He was 46.
 
The actor, who was known for his roles in films like 'Natpe Thunai' 'and Comali', succumbed to a prolonged battle with liver disease.
 
According to industry sources, Bijili Ramesh was receiving treatment at a hospital before his untimely demise this morning.
 
An ardent fan of Superstar Rajinikanth, Bijili Ramesh initially gained widespread popularity through a prank show on YouTube.
 
His unique sense of humor and relatable content quickly garnered him a large following on social media. This online success paved the way for his entry into the Tamil film industry, where he made his debut in 2019 with 'Natpe Thunai', starring Hiphop Tamizha Adhi.
 
Over the years, Bijili Ramesh took on small but memorable roles in various Tamil films, including Ponmagal Vandhal, Aadai, Comali, and Zombie. His comedic timing and vibrant personality made him a beloved figure among audiences.
 
The tamil film fraternity condoled his death.
