Mumbai: Star India cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma are set to open a restaurant at legendary singer Kishor Kumar's Bungalow here after securing a contract for five years.
The restaurant will be inaugurated very soon.
The bungalow that Virat Kohli has rented from Kishore Kumar is in Juhu, Mumbai. Gauri Kunj bungalow will be used by Virat Kohli for his popular restaurant chain '18 Commune'.
Fans are curious about the news of Virat and Anushka's restaurant.
Virat, the former captain of the Indian team, has named one of his restaurants '18 Commune'. The reason behind this name is his jersey number '18'. Kohli also shared this information on his official Instagram account.
Kohli wrote in his post that, 'Coming to Juhu, Mumbai. Virat Kohli's restaurant chain '18 Commune' is also present in Kolkata, Pune and cricket's home town of Delhi.
Kishore Kumar's 'Gauri Kunj' bungalow in Juhu formerly housed a restaurant called 'B Mumbai'. It has been closed for some reason. It is also known that the same bungalow of Kishore Kumar was served a notice by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation on the grounds of violation of construction rules a few years ago.
Due to the municipal corporation's notice, the restaurant owner had also demolished a part of the bungalow and repaired it. So now Kohli has taken it over for five years and in that Virat and Anushka's restaurant is ready to open any time now. (UNI)
