SR Harnot's short stories included in many universities' syllabus in India

Shimla: The popularity and recognition of Himachal-based Hindi writer SR Harnot is increasing day by day in Hindi literature.
 
This is evident from the continuous stream of MPhil & PhD researches being done on his literature and the stories being included in BA & MA syllabi in various universities of the country. Now 13 of his short stories are being studied in renowned varsities.
 
This year, in a span of just six months, five of his Hindi short stories have been included in the courses, including "Nadi Gayab Hai" at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagarof Maharashtra, "Cats Chat" at Mumbai University, "Bhagadevi ka Chaighar" at Calcutta University and "Aabhi" has been included in the curriculum in Gurukashi University Punjab.
 
His story “Maa Padhati Hai” has been collected in the mother-centric book “Rishton Ki Khidkiyan” by NCRT Delhi.
 
Earlier, Harnot's stories were taught in the curriculum of Kerala University, Central University of Punjab & Dharamshala, Gautam Buddha University Noida, Jain University Bangalore & Bangalore Naggar University too.
 
Last year, Harnot's most popular short story "Jeenkaathi" has been included in the M.A. syllabus in Himachal University while the English translations of "Aabhi" and "Lal Hota Darakht" are being taught in BA courses. In Kerala, one of his story M.dot.com is studied in plus two.
All courses of these universities are online in which information about these stories of SR Harnot along with many renowned writers of the country is mentioned.
 
Harnot is the first author from Himachal on whose literature more than twenty M.Phil researches have been done. Till date seven research scholars have been awarded PhD on his literature and nine researchers are pursuing PhD in different Universities. Harnot's stories and novels have been included in many PhD theses by research students on various subjects.
