Devotees planning to visit the famous Pavagadh Mahakali Temple have received an important update. The temple administration has announced that the ropeway service at Pavagadh will remain completely closed from today until August 8.
The ropeway has been temporarily suspended for five days to carry out regular maintenance work and technical inspections. The decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of passengers and ensuring smooth functioning of the ropeway system.
During the closure period, devotees visiting Pavagadh for Mahakali Mata's darshan will have to use the stairs to reach the temple or rely on alternative arrangements made by the administration.
The temporary suspension of the ropeway service may cause inconvenience, especially for elderly devotees, children, and people with physical difficulties who depend on the facility to reach the temple.
The administration has informed that the ropeway service will resume from August 8 after the completion of all necessary technical checks and maintenance work.
