Uttarakhand: Number of daily devotees fixed for Char Dham. Details inside!

Dehradun: As the doors of 'Char Dham,' including Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath are set to open on the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya, which falls on May 3 this year, the Uttarakhand government has fixed the number of pilgrims for daily darshan for the first 45 days of the yatra's first phase, an official said on Sunday.

As per Harish Gaur, Media In-charge of Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, there is no compulsory provision for Covid-19 test for devotees, but wearing a mask and following social distance is necessary for everyone's safety.

Gaur said the number of daily devotees has been fixed at 15,000 for Shri Badrinath Dham, 12000 for Shri Kedarnath Dham, 7,000 for Shri Gangotri Dham and 4,000 for Shri Yamunotri Dham. (UNI)
