Singapore: At least 60 people got food poisoning in Singapore at the office of TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, the Straits Times news agency reported, citing the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) and the Ministry of Health.
On Tuesday, the Singapore Civil Defense Force received several calls asking for medical assistance and 17 ambulances arrived at the scene, the report said.
The poisoned experienced abdominal pain and vomiting, and were taken to hospitals after consuming food from the same source, the report added.
The SFA and the Health Ministry reportedly told the news agency that they were investigating cases of suspected gastroenteritis.
As of July 30, 57 of the 60 people who developed symptoms of gastroenteritis sought medical care in hospitals, the report read.
