Colombo: Sri Lanka's acting President Ranil Wickremesinghe has said he has lost some centuries old books and a 125-year-old piano after some protesters here torched his private residence on July 9.
In an interview to CNN, Wickremesinghe said that much of the contents at his torched house were not salvageable.
"I have lost more than 4,000 books, including some that were centuries old," Wickremesinghe said. A 125-year-old piano was also destroyed in the fire, he added.
