Varanasi: In a lighter vein former Congress president and party candidate from Rae Bareli Rahul Gandhi on Monday said that it seems that he has to marry soon when asked by a supporter about his marriage during campaigning for Lok Sabha elections.
While interacting with the people of Rae Bareli during the election campaign along with sister and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, a female supporter asked him when he will get married. Initially Rahul ignored this question.
When asked again Rahul turned away from the question, In the meantime, Priyanka, who was standing nearby came forward and asked Rahul to answer the question first.
Apparently looking nervous Rahul pointed towards the supporter and said, 'What was your question? When he couldn't hear it clearly, he looked at his sister Priyanka and asked, then Priyanka repeated the question.
On this, Rahul said in a lighter vein, "Lagata hai jald hi karni padegi (Looks like it will have to be done soon)" and walked away from the stage smiling.
