Sudarsan Pattnaik creates sand art of Prabhu Ram Lalla at Puri beach

Puri: Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a seven feet high and twenty feet long sand art of Prabhu Shri Ram Lalla at Puri beach on the occasion of Shree Ram Navami.
 
Pattnaik has used about 12 tonnes of sand to erect the sculpture which depicts a sleeping sand art of Shri Ram Lalla.
 
The students of his sand art institute joined their hands to complete the sculpture.
 
Pattnaik said earlier that he has done many sand sculptures of Shri Ram on different occasions, but this time it was altogether a different one.
 
So far, Padma Shri awardee sand artists have participated in more than 65 international sand art competitions and festivals around the world and won many prizes for the country.
