22 patients died due to oxygen leak at civic hospital in Nashik, PM Modi condoles loss of lives

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said he is anguished by the loss of lives in the Nashik Oxygen gas leak incident which claimed lives of 22 people.

“The tragedy at a hospital in Nashik because of oxygen tank leakage is heart-wrenching. Anguished by the loss of lives due to it. Condolences to the bereaved families in this sad hour,” the Prime Minister said.

At least 22 patients on ventilators died due to an interrupted supply of oxygen at the Zakir Hussain Municipal hospital in Maharashtra’s Nashik district today.

The incident happened when an Oxygen tanker leaked while tankers were being filled. (UNI)
