8 Naxals neutralized 2 officer martyred during an encounter

Sukma: At least eight rebels were neutralised and two security personnel martyred in an encounter on the outskirts of Sakler village early today while a search operation was in progress, police said Arms and ammunition were seized from the scene. Law-enforcement personnel were scouring the area when reports last came in.

In another incident, an injured ultra was arrested during a search in Elmaguda village."Weapons and ammunition, medicines and posters were appropriated," Superintendent of Police Abhishek Meena said.(UNI)
