Aditya Srivastava tops UPSC Civil Service Exam 2023, his first reaction video goes viral

New Delhi: Aditya Srivastava has topped the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination, 2023, the results of which were declared by the Commission on Tuesday.
 
Moreover, Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy shared the second and third position respectively.
 
A total of 1016 candidates were selected to the Indian Administrative Service; Indian Foreign Service; Indian Police Service and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’, an official statement said.
 
The successful candidates include 347 from the General category, 115 from the Economically Backward Class (EWS), 303 from the OBC, 165 from the SC and 86 from the ST category.
 
As many as 180 candidates have been selected to the IAS, 37 for the IFS, 200 candidates for IPS, 613 to the Central Services Group 'A', and 113 candidates to the Group 'B' services.
 
Meanwhile, the Commission has maintained a consolidated reserve list of 240 candidates, the statement added.

UP CM Yogi congratulates candidates selected in the UPSC exam
 
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated successful candidates of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam-2023 following the announcement of the results.
 
Taking to his official 'X' handle, the Chief Minister expressed confidence that all these candidates will contribute to the building of a 'Developed India' with unwavering commitment to 'Nation First' and dedicated service.
 
He wrote, "I extend heartfelt congratulations to all the candidates selected in the prestigious Civil Services Exam-2023 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Best wishes to all of you for your golden future!."
