Andhra Guv, CM, ex-CM condole death of classical dancer Yamini Krishnamurthy

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and former chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy condoled the death of classical dancer Yamini Krishnamurthy.
 
In a message here on, Governor Nazeer expressed profound grief and sadness over the passing of Padma Vibhushan awardee Yamini Krishnamurthy, doyen of Bharatanatyam, in New Delhi.
 
“Yamini Krishnamurthy had a stellar reputation as a Bharatanatyam icon and won many awards,” he said, while conveying his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.

Former chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, while expressing grief over the demise of esteemed classical dancer Padma Vibhushan Dr Yamini Krishnamurthy, in a message remarked that Yamini Krishnamurthy left an indelible mark in the realm of classical dance with her unique style and extraordinary talent.

He further stated that her demise is an irreplaceable loss to the field of classical dance, and that all Telugu people can take pride in her achievements.
 
He also prayed for her soul to rest in peace.
