Ashish Khetan terms resignation from AAP as rumor

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Ashish Khetan on Wednesday called the media reports regarding his resignation from the party as mere "extrapolation" and clarified that he was not involved in active politics due to his legal practice.

"I am completely focused on my legal practice and not involved in active politics at the moment. Rest is all extrapolation," Mr Khetan tweeted.In another tweet, he said,"I had resigned from DDC in April, to join legal profession. That is all. Not interested in rumours."

It may be mentioned that on the occasion of Independence Day, senior AAP leader Ashutosh had resigned from the party citing personal reasons. However, senior party leaders refused to accept his resignation.(UNI)
