New Delhi:The Supreme Court on Friday extended interim protection from arrest for leftist ideologue Gautam Navlakha till October 15 in connection with the Bhima Koregaon case that had fuelled a sectarian divide.
"We extend the interim protection from arrest for accused, Gautam Navlakha till October 15 in the present (Bhima Koregaon) case," ruled a bench, led by Justice Arun Mishra. The apex court also ordered the Maharashtra government to produce the material it had against Navlakha at the next hearing.(UNI)
