New Delhi: Alleging the BJP of misusing the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as a political weapon, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi on Tuesday claimed that the BJP intended to arrest four more leaders of the party, including her just before the Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing a press conference here, Atishi asserted, “After the INDIA bloc’s rally in Ramlila Maidan, the BJP started feeling that putting the top four leaders in jail was not enough.”

“Top leaders of AAP-Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Satyendra Jain are already in jail. Now they intended to arrest next four prominent leaders just before Lok Sabha elections,” Atishi said.

“There are preparations underway to arrest four more leaders—including me, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Raghav Chaddha, and Durgesh Pathak,” she claimed.

“I was approached by one of my close friends on behalf of the BJP and told to join BJP otherwise, within the next month, month ED will raid my house and I will be arrested,” she claimed.

“BJP intends to arrest me, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Raghav Chaddha and Durgesh Pathak within the next two months,” Atishi added.

“I was told, there would be an ED raid on my house, and there would be an ED raid on the houses of my family members and relatives. Then summons will be sent to all of us, and after summons, we will be arrested,” she added.

She further asserted, “We are not afraid of BJP. Kejriwal has soldiers, and to save the Constitution, to save democracy, and to give a good life to the countrymen, every AAP leader, MLA, and worker will keep fighting till his last breath.”
