New Delhi: Bhartiya Janta party has added yet another feather in its cap. The saffron party is now the biggest party in the Upper House (Rajya Sabha) of the Parliament.
Today Rajya Sabha MP Sampatiya took oath after being elected through the bypoll in MP after the demise of central minister Anil Madhav Dave.
Now, BJP has 58 MPs and has surpassed the number of congress MPs with a difference of one.It is the first instance after 2014 that BJP has emereged as biggest party in Rajya Sabha as well. (WD)
