Varanasi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Shatrughan Sinha and former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha will join a rally of Aam Admi Party (AAP) here -- the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
AAP leader Mukesh Singh on Thursday said his party will organise a 'Vishal Janadhikar Rally' on June 25 on 'emergency' protest day in Rajnarayan Park in Beniya Bagh and a procession will be held from Varanasi to Ballia the next day.

He said the party had invited Mr Shatrughan Sinha and Mr Yashwant Sinha for the rally and procession, both have granted their permission for the programmes. Apart from BJP leaders, Samajwadi thinker Raghu Thakur and other leaders will address the rally on June 25.
Both BJP leaders have been in limelight for attacking Central BJP government and their presence in AAP rally in Mr Modi's constituency before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections may cause tension to BJP leaders. On the other side, AAP leaders were finalising the preparations of the programmes with great enthusiasm.

Mr Singh said in first phase AAP will organise the yatra on June 26 which will start from Bharat Mata temple and will reach Ballia on July 8, via Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Mau and Ghazipur.
