CM Arvind Kejriwal provides financial assistance of Rs 1 crore to the family of Corona warrior Late Nitin Tawar

New DelhiI:Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal on Friday provided financial assistance of Rs 1 crore to the family of Corona warrior Late Nitin Tanwar. He said that Late Shri Nitin Tanwar was a primary school teacher and was posted at MC Primary School, Naraina, and he continued to serve people during the Corona crisis. Shri Kejriwal said that while nothing can fill the loss of Shri Nitin, the financial assistance of Rs 1 crore on behalf of the Delhi government will provide some ease to the family of the Corona warrior. The government will also provide a job to Late Shri Nitin's wife in a Delhi government school and will stand beside his family for any help they might need in the future.
 
Shri Kejriwal said, "Late Shri Nitin Tanwar Ji was a very hardworking and dedicated teacher in our Delhi government school. He was posted at various duties during the Corona crisis, he was initially posted at the ration distribution center, and later on many such duties. He passed away after getting infected while being on COVID duty last year. It is because of people like Nitin Ji that Delhi can cope with the Corona pandemic because these people are fighting a tough battle against Corona. I pray to God that he rests in peace. I met his father, wife, daughter, and other family members just now. While we cannot fill the loss, I, on behalf of the Delhi government, have provided his family with the monetary support of Rs 1 crore. We will also provide his wife with a job in a Delhi government school. We will also stand beside them in any assistance that they shall need in the future."
 
Corona warrior Late Shri Nitin Tanwar was posted as a primary teacher at MC Primary School, H-Block, Naraina. Late Shri Nitin Tanwar got affected by COVID while on his duty on 12th December 2020 and was admitted to the RML Hospital, where he died on 14th December 2020. He was a resident of Delhi. Late Shri Nitin Tanwar is survived by his father Shri Satya Pal Singh, mother Smt Sarla Devi, wife Smt Sarvista Tanwar, daughter Pakhi Tanwar, brother Shri Manish Tanwar and sister-in-law Smt Nitu.
