Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday escaped any injury but his car sustained minor damage as the VVIP convoy was involved in multiple collisions at Vamanapuram here.
Sources said the accident happened when the Chief Minister was going to Thiruvananthapurm on Monday after attending a function in Kottayam.
The CM's car and another five vehicles in his convoy were involved in the collision after a scooter rider suddenly took a turn and moved into the convoy’s path from a side road.
