Crane falls on house near metro project site in Surat, horrifying video goes viral -WATCH

Surat (Gujarat): A crane fell on a house in Surat on Thursday evening during construction work at a metro project site, triggering panic in the area as residents rushed out of their homes on hearing the loud noise, police said.

No casualty was reported as the building on which the crane fell was unoccupied.

The police said the incident took place at the metro site near the Tapovan Circle in the Nana Varachha area of Surat.

As soon as the information about the mishap was received, police and fire brigade teams reached the spot and started the necessary action.

The police have registered a case of negligence.
