Deepotsav: Ayodhya to glow in light of over 5 lakh diyas

Ayodhya: A three-day grand Deepotsav will be celebrated in Lord Ram's city Ayodhya following the protocol laid down in view of COVID-19. 
Official sources on Saturday said that 5 lakh, 50,000 'diyas' will be lit in the Deepotsav and all the programmes will be broadcast live during this time. LED display boards and LED vans will be put up at various spots so that the people can enjoy the Deepotsav programme at every place. 
 
Sources said that 11 'jhakis' based on the Ramayan period will also be taken out. Due to COVID-19, a very limited number of tourists will be present during the Deepotsav programme this time.  
 
Commissioner MP Agarwal, while presiding over the meeting for the preparations of the Deepotsav programme said that this time, the Deepotsav programme will last for three days from November 11-13. (UNI)
