New Delhi: The Special Cell of Delhi Police on Tuesday claimed to have busted an organised terror module in a multi-state operation, with the arrest of six persons, two of whom were trained in Pakistan.
Explosives and arms have been seized from the arrested men, including sophisticated Italian-made pistols, the police said.
They said the accused were "ideologically motivated", and were planning to target crowded areas during the upcoming festive season.
Ramleela and Navratri celebrations were on target in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, according to the Police.
Police said they were getting logistical support from the underworld. (UNI)
