New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Swati Maliwal has asked the BJP not to do politics over her issue within the party, which she hoped would be addressed appropriately.
Maliwal has been in the news lately over her allegations that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s PA, Bibhav Kumar, had misbehaved with her at the CM's residence.
In a social media post on X, Maliwal wrote, “Whatever happened to me was very bad. I have given my statement to the police on the incident that happened to me. I hope that appropriate action will be taken.”
“The last few days have been very difficult for me. I thank those who prayed for me,” she said.
Maliwal also claimed that some people tried to assassinate her character, insinuating that she was making these allegations at the behest of another party.
An important election is going on in the country; Swati Maliwal is not important; the issues of the country are important, Maliwal said.
“There is a special request to BJP people not to do politics on this incident,” she added.
