EPFO to go 'paper free' by next August: Joy

New Delhi: The Central Provident Fund Commissioner VP Joy today said that the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) would be a paper-free organisation by August next near.Talking the reporters here, he said, we are working to make EPFO Electronic Paper Free Organisation as a lot of time, man hours, resources, manpower were going waste generating less productivity as conventional methods were now aging and were slow and now the time is to go digital.

According to Mr Joy, efforts were on to revolutionalize the working of EPFO and digitizing it by next year by making the overall working of the organisation more electronic so that things could be executed digitally using mobile, internet, etc.We aim to provide all the services offered by the department online on mobile phone by August next year said CPFC adding that they were working on their action plans and would execute them soon.

While addressing the EPFO Delhi at the Tiranga Yatra organised by them to mark 75th anniversary of the Quit India Movement here, he said that a lot of unproductive has to be ruled out from every department and time and resources for over used in conventional ways should can only be cut down by moving forward.
