Explosion at Army camp area on LoC in Poonch

Jammu: A mysterious explosion took place at an Army camp area, close to the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday."A mysterious blast broke out this morning inside Army Brigade along the LoC in Poonch," defence sources here said.

The sources said that there is no involvement from Pakistan side, adding, "it could be an explosive like material that might have blown inside the brigade but the facts are being ascertained."

Meanwhile, Jammu-based defence spokesman, Ministry of Defence, Col Devendra Anand, said, "blast occurred in an unmanned shelter in Army Camp. No casualties reported and issue is under investigation."(UNI)
