4 JeM OGWs arrested, arms and ammunition recovered in Sopore
 
Srinagar:Security forces arrested four Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) Over Ground Workers (OGWs) and recovered arms and ammunition from them in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.
Official sources on Wednesday said that following specific information about transportation of arms and ammunition, a joint checkpoint was established by police, Army and CRPF at Fruitmandi crossing Sopore in Baramulla on Tuesday evening.
 
"Police arrested four JeM OGWs at the checkpoint and recovered arms and ammunition, including two UBGL, two grenades and matrix sheet from them," they said."The accused have been identified as Mohammad Ayoub Malla, Fayaz Ahmad War, Javid Ahmad War and Maqsood Ahmad War", they added.
 
They said that the accused are being questioned and more arrests are expected.(UNI)
